Welcome to Oak Meadow United Methodist Church. We are a small church located in North Central San Antonio between Castle Hills and Shavano Park. We share the belief that small does not mean less. Our size permits a strong sense of community. Familiar names and faces promote a quiet comfort in belonging, sharing, and knowing one another. The sermon for Sunday, August 17, 2008 is entitled
" Forgive one Another."

This message is based on Genesis 45:1-15. Last week we learned that Joseph, the second from the youngest son of Jacob (or Israel) had been thrown into an abandoned well and then sold into slavery by his jealous brothers. God had us thinking about some of the things Joseph can teach us when we go through those "not-so- fun times" within our own familes and church families.

This Sunday we will follow Joseph's life a little more as we learn that in spite of it all, Joseph forgave his brothers, and how we are to do likewise.
