The Moodys

Sunday, August 8, 2004

The Moodys, a father and daughter singing duo from San Antonio, sang Southern style Christian songs and conducted a worship service at OMUMC on Sunday, August 8. The family travels across the US performing at churches, at Christian concerts, and other venues. They have recorded 4 cassettes and 3 CDs of their music, much of which is original. Following the service, the OMUMC United Methodist Women served a luncheon of potato salad, green pea salad, sandwiches, cake, and punch.

The Moodys were a huge blessing to all who were present!  Their music was fun, as well as moving.  We really enjoyed the way they adapted the song called "Kawliga", by Hank Williams and turned it into a song about Elijhah, the great prophet!

God willing, we will have The Moodys back again in the near future.
